The 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 offers more performance, more features, and an extra gear! Does this mean it's a more rounded and capable bike than the original model? I've spent a few weeks on one to try and get under its skin and consider all of the features of the new Himalayan. Could this be the perfect small capacity adventure bike? A big thanks to my channel partners for their suppor...

2024 Yamaha MT-09 - First Ride Review

The Yamaha MT-09 has been with us for 10 years, and through all the changes over this period, the original ethos of the bike has remained intact. Fast, Fun and Agile. So does the 2024 model just continue the story or does it push it on even further. There's new tech and features, but the important thing is, does it still offer the legendary MT-09 experience? In this video, I look at all the cha...

The Ducati We Ride as One 2024 event took place on the 4th of May. Dealerships and owners' clubs got together globally for a ride out and celebrate all things Ducati. The 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200X is part of the new scrambler lineup for 2024, and I think it's exactly what Triumph needed. The 1200 variation of the Scrambler has proved to be a very capable machine and for those looking for that Off-Road Desert Sled aesthetic, the XE model has always been the pinnacle. The 2024 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L has had some key updates in both the 'Standard' and Adventure Sports Model variants. But the Standard Africa Twin model has had some changes too which I think will appeal to more potential buyers. These additions...

One of life's mysteries, is why motorcycles have small windscreens that blast the air straight into your eyes, causing the most amount of wind buffeting and wind noise possible----actually being worse than nothing at all! And the other mystery, which should be a class action lawsuit: no overdrive gear on any modern motorcycle, despite many motorcycles having nearly double the low end torque as earlier air cooled machines from the 1980's. Many motorcycles are geared the same as they were in 1997, which can only be explained through intentional malicious planned obsolescence and collusion with oil companies.

I've seen this Zumo accessory a while ago, but the Stackry service is new to me and could be really useful. Did you have any issues with customs/vat charges, what did they cost? Does there need to be a customs declaration label on the package? I think a video on the details of the Stackry service (and perhaps some alternatives) would be of interest to people around the world, and extend well beyond motorcycling, also boosting your YT profile and views.

Thanks for making the effort creating this video! Had a Mutant on a modified Speed Triple 1050, what a blast!! Hammering the corners, cold, wet and even better in the dry. Can you say something sensible about one of these on a bike like KTM 990 Adventure, I want better asphalt corner grip then a Heidenau and more off road fun, I totally do NOT care about millage, more grip, more fun and happily stay somewhere an extra night enjoying a beer while mounting a new set of tires on my journey :)) Your advice/50ct doesn't have to be limited to Dunlop btw ;) Thanks and highly appreciated, cheers

@@mancavemoto how hard can you push them in the dry through the corners on asphalt? I did a couple trips through Pico de Europa in northern Spain and I had Heidenau K60 Scout tires, those are not the best in the world in respects to cornering, but I was able to push them controllable hard on the mountain passes/twisties, especially they would give good feedback when starting to slide so I was able to save the moment. Can you say something about that with these Dunlop's? On the other hand I should just try them

Mine arrived dead. I was disappointed to see that the issue was already known to Beeline and was listed as a fault on their website. Obviously there is a quality control issue with these first units so buyer beware. I suggest waiting before purchasing. It is also over 36 hours since I reported the fault to Beeline through their support system and apart from a “we have your message” response I have heard nothing. Again extremely disappointing for a new product which as I said above Beeline obviously know that they have quality issues with. Overall my confidence in this product and the company behind it has deminished greatly. I repeat. Buyer beware!

I own one of these and to me is an overrated helmet, there are several cons to it. Ventilation: The top vent is great for sure, but not enough in summer, the front vents are useless especially if you own a bike with a windshield, what a touring bike will have for sure, is really hot in there. Fit: Overall it fits great, not too comfy, not too tight, until you ride for more than 1hr, and you start feeling an annoying and painful pressure in the top of your head, this is the worst. Noise: Noise levels are acceptable but not as quiet as they say, so wear earplugs all the time, especially at highway speeds. Cardo Insyde: as a communication system works smoothly, but, the bottoms are hard to identify with gloves, and the sound quality is the worst, really high pitch sound that ends up hurting your ears even wearing plugs, not sure if by upgrading the speakers to the JBL might help but really to me who enjoy listening music while riding is the worst experience, I will upgrade the speakers and let you know if actually improves. at this point when I feel I want to change to a different helmet, I regret having bought the integrated system, now I'm constrained to a helmet that I do not like.

You hit on my main problem: clay. No road-legal tire deals with it. They all turn to slicks in it. I’ve made it my goal to avoid mud (it’s all clay where I am) and deep sand and loose dirt. Just not worth the hassle and risks anymore to me (including the 4 hours required to pry the clay off the bike afterwards haha). I guess I’m just old and lazy now. Given the price of many of these adv tires, versus the short amount of wear and the vastness of where I live, I’m about at the point of just putting on some cruiser/high-mileage touring tires and slowing down more on the gravel. Even full dressers can ride on hard-pack gravel and dirt haha. Plus, a road tire will be a lot easier to power-turn on gravel and dirt when I have to turn around. Thanks for your insight on this tire; the conclusion I draw is that it won’t last long enough to make it much more useful to me than a 90/10 or 80/20 after a short while.

I like it gonna test ride one this weekend your review was clear and informative. To be fair 2hrs on any bike is enough for me always need a refuel for the bike and a cuppa and a butty on route anyway. I find if your riding in a group your always stopping for the rider with the smallest fuel tank anyway so range is not really a big deal unless your riding solo and not part of a group. I think it’s much better looking than a BMW1300 GS once you start adding the extras on to the BMW GS it will be more expensive than this Ducati anyway.

Nice review Tony. I test rode the previous model and (price aside) thought it was an amazing engine but for touring was put off by the woeful mpg.....also did find the engine gave a lot of heat compared to the competition. If someone wants a sports bike with adventure seating (and has deep pockets) it's not a bad choice..... but as adventure bikes go I think there are better all round options
